Kathleen Phillips

Kathleen had resided in Fort Myers, Florida since 1996. For many years, she assisted her husband, Dr. Charles B. Phillips, with his medical practice at 271 Cline Avenue in Mansfield. Until recently, she was employed by LABCORP in Fort Myers, FL. She was educated in the Seventh-day Adventist school system and both she and her husband were members of the Mansfield Seventh-day Adventist Church. Her favorite leisure time activities were being with her family, shelling on the beach and listening to music.

She is survived by five step children, Chuck Phillips of Fort Myers, FL, Brian Phillips and Ken Phillips, both of Mansfield, Pam Rager of Avon, OH and Elaine Heater of Conroe, TX; two sisters, Marcia Arnold of Rockville, MD and Janet Ratz of Mount Vernon, OH; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles B. Phillips; parents; sister, Elaine Kazaka; and brother, Frank Sauder.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Cancer Care Clinic, 335 Glessner Avenue, Mansfield, OH 44903. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Mrs. Phillips.
