Kathy Ward, 43, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born May 27, 1967 in Louisa, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James and Frances Wright Williamson. Kathy graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and attended North Central State College. She worked in food services at Mansfield Correctional Institution. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, flowers, and watching the Cleveland Browns.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Dustin Frye; one daughter, Karlee Ward; and one brother, James Williamson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Timothy Storms. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
