Keith Brian Chaffin, 64, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on November 23, 2025. Born in Mansfield, Ohio, on November 19, 1961, he was the son of Donald and Darlene (Clark) Chaffin.

A graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School, Keith enjoyed being with family, hunting and working around his farm.

Keith is survived by his mother, Darlene; stepdad, Dean “Pops” Blamer; his son, Justin (Lauren Miller) Chaffin; grandchildren: Jaydyn, Kamden, Kaiden, and Mackenze; brother Kevin (Kathy) Chaffin; nieces, Shannon Chaffin and Christina (Kevin ) Underwood; nephew, Zackary (Abby) Chaffin; his dog, Princess and his cat, Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Chaffin.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday December 9, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM with Major Robert Bender and Major Karen Bender officiating. Committal will be at Mansfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Richland County, 3025 Park Avenue West, Ontario, OH 44906.
