He was a 1972 graduate of Lucas High School and attended Wright State University. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Keith was named Airman of the Year in 1975 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and was formerly employed as an electrician retiring from Estes in Florida. He was a member of Lucas Foursquare Gospel Church. An avid sports fan, Keith followed his hometown team, the Lucas Cubs, The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns and Indians and the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. He enjoyed attending science shows and watching the History Channel especially anything about the Civil War. He also enjoyed watching and being involved in his grandchildren's sporting events. A caring and loving man, Keith was the best father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his pet Chihuahua, Lucy Liu Fyffe; two daughters, Angela (Jeffery) Fields and Amanda Fyffe both of Fairborn, OH; two grandchildren, Tristen and Kaley Thacker; two brothers, Shawn Fyffe of Ontario and Scott (Stacy) Fuller of Bremerton, FL; a sister, Becky (Randy) Curtis of Gaylord, MI; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, William Fyffe and Barbara (Hillman) Fyffe Fuller, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his best friend and mother of his children, Beth (Lyle) Fyffe and his step father, Charles Fuller.
A memorial service, conducted by Pastor Dallas Waggle, will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lucas Foursquare Full Gospel Church, 57 Lucas N. Road, Lucas, OH 44843. Burial will occur at a later date at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Keith A. Fyffe.
