Keith Hignite

Keith A. Hignite, 50, of Mansfield passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital from a battle with cancer. Keith was born on September 13, 1958. He attended Madison Comprehensive High School, went on to become a CNC Operator, and was employed by Rabels. Keith enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Penny Hignite; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Ryan McClenathan; granddaughters, Hanna and Bailey McClenathan; mother and stepfather, Jean and Dick Arnold; father and stepmother, Jack and Dora Hignite; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ted Eberhardt; brother, Jimmy Hignite; aunts and uncles; cousin; nieces and nephew; along with numerous friends. Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents; aunt; and son, Jason Hignite.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Barlow of Apostolic Tabernacle of God and Pastor Lloyd Kirk of Heath, Ohio. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
