
Kimberly 'Kim' A. Jacobs Schneider, 49, of Mansfield, died Monday, December 15, 2003, in Columbus, Ohio, after a long illness. She was born July 30, 1954, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, to Robert Demoise and Judith Goodman Kaine. Kim was a 1972 graduate of St. Peter's High School and served for 4 years with the U.S. Air Force as a midwife. Throughout the rest of her life, she worked as a phlebotomist and an office manager, and most recently as a teacher's aide for special needs children at Madison School. Kim was in the process of furthering her education. Kim loved swimming and soaking up the sun.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of three years, Lawrence A. Jacobs, Jr.; her mother-in-law, Ruby Jacobs; six children and their spouses, Tonya Rob Fleisher, Christopher Jana Coon, Greg Dawn Schneider and Christy Tim Shaum, Amy Jacobs, and Felicia Jeff Minkey; fourteen grandchildren, Brittany, Greg, Joel, Nathanael, Wyatt, Savannah, Trevor, Angelica, McKenna, Hannah, Christian, Jeremiah, Ethan and Joshua; parents, Robert Rebecca Demoise of Lexington and Judy Goodman-Kaine of Mansfield; two sisters and their spouses, Cyndi Michael Ash and Laura Hub Kieser; a brother and his wife, Alec Jody Demoise; a stepfather, Pat Kaine of Mansfield; and many, many loving friends and neighbors. A brother, Bobby Demoise, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, December 17, from 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services to be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Richard Lupton. Military graveside services will follow in Windsor Park Cemetery.
