Lafe Lee Fraley

Lafe was a Navy veteran and after discharge, Lafe returned to Ohio and worked at Tappans. Lafe missed the sea, enlisted in the Merchant Marines based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Lafe retired to Saipan. Lafe returned to Ohio to spend time with family before passing. Lafe would entertain his family with stories of his experience at sea and his life in Saipan. Lafe was a very interesting person to talk to.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Hattie Mae Fraley; siblings, Arthur (Marie) Fraley of Texas, Josephine Fraley, Cecil (Elaine) Fraley, Norma Jean Fraley and Albert Fraley.

Lafe is survived by his brothers, Markus Fraley, Willis Fraley, Noah Fraley Jr., and Robert (Diane) Fraley; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will not be held due to COVID-19. Lafe's ashes will be returned to sea, per his wishes. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
