Larry was born December 23, 1937 in Charleston, West Virginia, to Herman and Nora Burdette. Larry married Donna Horvath on March 1, 1960, and they shared 58 loving years together. Larry worked for the Laborers Local 310 for 35 years until he retired in June 1992. Larry’s family was the most important thing in his life. He enjoyed spending time with them and watching them swim in his pool. Larry was known for his infectious smile and laugh.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Burdette of Perrysville; children, Charles Burdette of Perrysville and Susan (Kevin) Kubitz of Sullivan; grandchildren, Kevin (Michelle) Kubitz Jr. and Katlyn Kubitz; great-grandchildren, Riley, Morgan, and Peyton Kubitz. He is preceded in death by his son, Larry Burdette; daughter, Barbara Richardson; brothers, Eugene and Danny Burdette; and sister, Norma Smith.
There will no service or visitation at this time. Wappner Cremation Center is privileged to serve the family.
