Larry Kilgore, Jr.

Larry L. Kilgore, Jr., 45, passed away late Saturday evening, December 4, 2010 at Morrow County Hospital. Born November 2, 1965, in Crestline, he is the son of Paula Wolfe and Larry L. Kilgore, Sr. He spent most of his young life in Johnsville and graduated from Northmor High School. Larry worked in the construction industry as a plasterer. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. After being introduced at Mike's Pizza by mutual friends, he married Patricia S. "Patti" Carter and together they celebrated 12 happy years of marriage.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sherri Joseph Thornton of Lexington; son, Justin Jones of Crestline; stepdaughter, Crystal Easterling of Columbus; stepson, Jimmie Heather See II of Columbus; parents, Larry Sr. and Paula Kilgore of Florida; grandmother, Marjorie Wolfe; sister, Rose Tresh Randy Corns of Johnsville; grandchildren, Cameran and Jocelynn Thornton, Anthony and Cole Easterling and Kylee and Carter See; nieces, Jenny and Cassie Tresh; great-nephew, Damean Sewell; and his canine companion, Molly. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Anna Kilgore and Eugene Wolfe.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, December 10, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. in the Lexington V.F.W. Post #5101. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Larry Kilgore, Jr.
