Laura Roth

Laura K. Wright Roth, 87, of Mansfield, died Friday morning, August 8, 2008 at Oak Grove Manor. Born May 4, 1921 in Morehead, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lula Elam Wright. She was an area homemaker her entire life and also served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Retired Steel Workers of America. A member of First Church of God, Laura had a deep faith in the Lord.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Jane Roth of Lantana, TX; three grandchildren, Lisa Tarpy and her husband, Josh of Bay Village, OH, Megan and Michelle Roth, both of Lantana, TX; two great-grandchildren, Lleyton Roth of Lantana, TX and Lucy Tarpy of Bay Village, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Roth, Sr., four sisters, Alice, Janie, Peg and Myrtle and a brother, James.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
