Lena “Rose” Holzworth, age 90, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. She was born August 11, 1934, to Adam and Caroline “Lena” (Zimmerman) Holzworth.

Rose graduated from Union High School in 1953. She then attended beauty school and became a hairdresser for 56 years. Later, she attended school to become an electrologist. Rose was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed participating in golf and bowling leagues with her friends, as well as going to horse races, quilting and sewing.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and their husbands, Marie (James) Melching, Evelyn (Carl) Bemiller, Eleanor (Albert) Borsani and Marge (Samuel) Roush; and a brother, Lawrence who passed away at the age of 9.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Mansfield Cemetery. Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield is honored to serve the family.
