

Leona W. Fyffe, age 80, of Mansfield died at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital on Tuesday following a sudden illness. Mrs. Fyffe was born on June 26, 1921 in Mansfield, Ohio and lived here her entire life. She was retired from Essex after having worked for Hartman Electric for many years. She was avid in crocheting, sewing and needlecraft.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Fyffe, Sr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, June and Robert Reed of Lexington and Janet and David Bolles of Mansfield; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles and Lou Bowser of Columbus, Ohio, Thomas, Jr. and JoAnne Fyffe of Ashland, Ohio and Mike Fyffe of Mansfield; seventeen grandchildren, Robert, Terry, Toni, Bruce, Sr., Arthur, Steven, Eileen, David, Tonya Lou, Lori, Ellen, Jammie, Jason, Christopher, Nicole, Amanda and Dorian; twenty two great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren; one brother Bernard Schuster of Mansfield and one special cousin, Richard and Dorothy Schuster. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Lee Bowser.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 7, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. Lowell Carroll. Burial will follow at Oddfellow Cemetery.
