Lewis Crider, 82, of Mansfield, died Friday, November 19, 2010, at Oak Grove Manor. Born April 26, 1928, he was the son of Irven and Leona Marie McElroy Crider. He had worked at New Hope Industries for many years.
Surviving are his longtime caregiver, Shirley Harris of Mansfield; a maternal aunt, Alice King of Mansfield; and his guardian, David Remy. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Herbert D. and Harold L. Crider; and a caregiver, Jerry Harris.
A deep appreciation goes out to Oak Grove Manor and staff; Dr. Win; and the staff of New Hope Industries.
There will be no calling hours or services at this time. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery, Danville, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Industries.
