Lillie was born on May 17, 1938 in Soldier, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Tony and Eva (Lewis) Gillum. Lillie was employed at the Lexington Avenue Kroger for 17 years. A good listener and friend, Lillie has a deep concern for others showing empathy to everyone. An immaculate housekeep, Lillie enjoyed collecting dolls and playing the organ. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Garn of Mansfield and Bruce (Kim) Garn of Lucas; her grandchildren, Shayla (Tony) Camargo of North Ridgeville, ShiAnne (Jon) Shepherd, Michelle (Justin) McGregor both of Mansfield, Jerrica Garn of Marlbora, MD and Jessica Garn of Shelby; nine great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Jeanie Gillum, Doris Gillum, and Fern Gillum; and her best friend forever, Nancy Ciccolani. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Allen Jerry Garn; six brothers; and six sisters.
Family and friends may visit from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, July 11, 2022 at First Wesleyan Church, 1908 Park Ave. West. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the church with Pastor Keith Carlisle and Pastor Ray Selden. Lillie will be laid to rest at Little Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Wesleyan Church.
