Linda S. Rogers, 51, of Galion, died Monday, August 24, 2009 at Galion Community Hospital. Born July 16, 1958 in Shelby, she was the daughter of Bennie and Mary Booker. Linda had a love for the outdoors, and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting.
She is survived by her husband, George R. Rogers; four children and their spouses, David and Tracy Booker of Columbus, Mike and Tabatha Wagner of Mansfield, Carrie and Danny Cottrell, and Jennifer Rogers, all of Galion; mother, Mary Booker of Galion; nine grandchildren; brother, Randy Booker of Lucas; sister, Kathy Booker of Garrettsville; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Danny and Leisha Rogers of Mansfield, and Jim Shirley Rogers of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009 at Taylortown Community Church, 2656 Taylortown Rd., Shelby, Ohio, conducted by Pastor Doug Tackett. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Linda S. Rogers.
