Linda Sparks

Linda L. Sparks, 53, of 660 Cherry St. Galion, Ohio died Wednesday October 31, 2001 at Cleveland Metro General Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Sparks was born January 3, 1948 in Pennington Gap, Virginia residing in the Mansfield/Galion area for the past 40 years. She was previously employed with Hi-Stat in Lexington, Ohio. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her father, Ben Speck of Jonesville, Virginia; her husband, Bill R. Sparks of Galion; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Beth Sparks of Galion; one granddaughter, Huntir Sparks; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Betty Speck of Galion; Jerry and Jeanie Speck of Ontario; Roger and Shelly Speck and Daryl Speck all of Crestline; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Goldie Dowell Speck; and one sister, Shirley Speck.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday November 4, 2001 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 5, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
