

Lonnie B. Hass, 65, of Mansfield died at home Friday morning, November 29, 2002 after a brief battle with cancer. Mr. Hass was born August 2, 1937 in Shelby, Ohio living in the Shelby/Mansfield area all of his life. He retired in August 1999 from R.R. Donnelly & Sons Company, Willard Division. He was a life member of AmVets #26, and a member of Sons of Herman and the Eagles. Mr. Hass served four years in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Helen K. Jones-Heydinger Hass; a son, Richard A. Hass of Mansfield; two daughters, Lori S. Hass of Rock Tavern, New York and Tracy L. Floro of Galion; two stepsons and a daughter-in-law, James E. & Jane Heydinger and Dennis A. Heydinger, all of Dayton; two stepdaughters and a son-in-law, Nancy K. & Roger Howell of Mansfield and Jane M. Goodall of Lexington; five grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; his father, Wilbur C. Hass; a brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and three uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Kessler Hass.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday from 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services to be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Deacon Paul Jones. Following cremation his ashes will be inurned in Greenlawn Cemetery, Plymouth, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
