Loretta Williams

Loretta Kay McCoy Williams, 58, of Mansfield passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 at Oak Grove Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Loretta was born March 20, 1952 in Sybial, WV to Sammy C. and Rose McCoy. She was baptized at birth at St. Francis Hospital in South Charleston, WV. Loretta was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. The highlight of her life was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorina Loney of Mt. Gilead, Stacey Love of Shelby, and Lisa Grubbs Melissa Bristow of Mansfield; one son, David Swint, Jr. of Warren; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Martha Craig of Mansfield, her twin sister, Genetta Faye Harris of Florida, Wanda Jerry Baker of Mt. Gilead, Drema Dennis Tricroft of Ashland, and Doris Browning of Perrysville; brother, Cecil McCoy of Kirbyville, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert McCoy of Mt. Gilead and Earl McCoy of Olathe, KS; one sister, Bonnie Durfee; nephew, Donald Craig, Jr.; niece, Gloria Carver; and one great niece, Lori Carver.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011, at Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family at any of the Wappner Funeral Directors locations. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Loretta Kay Williams.
