Affectionately known as the "little sister", she was one five girls born to Ronald L. and Juanita M. (Fliger) Jarvis and was, by far, the orneriest of the bunch. She graduated from both Ontario High School and Pioneer Joint Vocational School in Food Service. Lori was a fantastic chef and enjoyed cooking for others and trying new recipes. She worked at Hi-Stat for 17 years and as a home health aide until her health no longer allowed.
Lori was a very generous person and loved her family dearly. She loved animals almost as much and was always rescuing a stray or two. Being outdoors, camping and just relaxing with friends and family were the activities she most enjoyed. Lori never lost that ornery spirit and would NEVER back down from a dare.
She is survived by her father, Ronald Jarvis; four sisters, Peggy Cooper, LaVerne (Larry) Denton, Phyllis (Jim) Smith and Sandy (Nelson) Tylke; ten nieces and nephews; and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Jarvis; brother-in-law, John Cooper; and two nephews, Timothy and Thomas Denton.
There will be no visitation or service at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Research Institute at www.diabetesresearch.org. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
