Lucille J. Honse, 87, of Shelby, died Monday September 21, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Ashland. Born February 27, 1922 in Shelby, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Emma Stortz Hageman. Lucille loved to line dance and also making jewelry.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Bob Minnear of Ashland; three grandchildren, Tracy Arthur Sherman of Ontario, Kathy Bret Gandee of Bellville, and Brian Fuhrmann of Ashland; eight great grandchildren, Christian, Megan, Luke, Blaine, Zane, May, Estella, and Elaina; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, a brother, and former husband, Harry Honse.
A gathering of family and friends and a memorial service will be held Saturday October 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Lucille's home, 14 Monroe Ave, Shelby, conducted by Pastor Mike Cloud of the Impact Worship Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr., Ashland. The Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Lucille.
