Marcia Kay Rice, 55, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman after a brief illness. Born July 14, 1951 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Byron C. and Sarah Bocka Rice. She worked at the Area Agency on Aging. Marcia attended the Apostolic Christian Church on Illinois Ave. She graduated from Capital University and attended Mt. Union University.
She is survived by her mother, Sarah Rice, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Martin and Katherine Bocka; and paternal grandparents, Alba and Chloea Rice.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2006 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Apostolic Christian Church on Illinois Ave. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
