Margaret Erwin

Margaret D. Callahan Erwin, 68, of Ontario died Thursday evening, March 1, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield after an extended illness. Mrs. Erwin was born December 26, 1932 in Olive Hill, Kentucky living in the Mansfield area most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David M. Erwin and his fiancé, Carolyn Hamilton of Mansfield and Jeffrey W. & Ann Erwin of Carson City, Nevada; two daughters, Shirley J. Erwin and Carolyn L. Caudill, both of Ontario; six grandchildren, Jeremy R. Litteral and his fiancé, Kim York, Samantha Mayo, and Michael, Melissa, Jeffrey and Matthew Erwin; one great-granddaughter, Tatum Caudill; her stepmother, Garnett Callahan; a brother and sister-in-law, Challas L. & Joyce Callahan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curry L. & Lorene Criswell Callahan; her husband of 52 ½ years, Otis S. Erwin; a grandson, Brandon Caudill; and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert E. & Flora Callahan.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Perry Brafford.
