Margaret Roach

Margaret Roach, 85 of Shelby, died Friday February 4, 2005 at Crestwood Care Center following a brief illness. Born January 28, 1920 in Springfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of George and Catherine Blake McDaniel. She was a member of the World Wide Church of God. Mrs. Roach worked at Mansfield City Schools and enjoyed her family, camping, and eating out.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Dalene Roach of Mt. Gilead; three daughters and sons-in-law, Judie and Bob Washington, Sharon and Jack Teschler, all of Mansfield, and Nancy Schmitzer of Shelby; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald E. Roach on November 17, 1999; one son-in-law, Ken Schmitzer; and two brothers, Charles and Tom McDaniel.

No calling hours will be held. Graveside services will be held at 11:45 a.m. Monday February 7, 2005 at Mansfield Memorial Park with Rev. Johnson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio or in care of the family. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
