

She was born on June 25, 1927, to George and Roselia (Herbert) Kopschitz in Backi Brestovac, Yugoslavia. She had lived in the Mansfield area since arriving in this country in 1951.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Mrs. Lorenz loved visiting with her young grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was an avid baseball fan. Her favorite team was the Cleveland Indians and she rarely missed a game. Mrs. Lorenz was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Neva Lorenz of Warsaw, Indiana, Egbert and Kathleen Lorenz and David and Kimberly Lorenz of Mansfield; grandchildren; Kelly (Shawn) Locker of Indiana, Brian (Susan) Lorenz, Andrew (Mary) Lorenz, and Shannon (Thomas) Morgan, all of Powell, Ohio, and Alexie and Collin Lorenz of Mansfield; great-grandchildren, Georg Locker, Henry, Annaliese, Charlotte and Elisabeth Lorenz, John and Katherine Lorenz and Olivia and Thomas Morgan; one sister, Roselia Richter of Germany; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Judy Kopsch of Pennsylvania and George and Terri Chandler of Mansfield; and one sister-in-law, Rosie Kopsch, also of Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lorenz, Jr.; her parents; and two brothers, John Kopsch and Valentin Kopschitz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
