Marilyn L. Schumacher, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Liberty Health Care formerly Woodlawn Health Care. She was the daughter of Eldon and LaDoris Barr Schumacher. Marilyn retired from Empire Detroit Steel where she was a secretary and enjoyed working on the computer and shopping. After her retirement, she spent many winters in St. Petersburg, FL.
Surviving are two sisters, Jean Dalbey of Mansfield and Sandra Hukill of East Lansing, MI; a brother, Donald Schumacher of Las Vegas, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Ron Dalbey.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, OH 44902. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date.
