Marilyn Young

Marilyn Young, 88, of Mansfield, died November 17, 2010 at Oak Grove Manor. Born October 27, 1922 in Shiloh she was the daughter of Lynn and Mary Hodges Washburn. She worked and retired as a nurse's aide at Richland Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, James L. Ann Young of Marion, George W. Becky Young of Mansfield, and Dennis L. Pam Young of Fredericktown; daughters, Sue Ann Noel Stahl of Mansfield, Mary Jane McCalla of Canton, Shirley Jean Frank of Loudonville, Betty Lou Larry White of Mansfield, and Debra Kay Leslie Nikolaus of Mansfield; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, with many to come; and sisters, Marie Erndt of California and Sandra Roy Bowersock of Mansfield. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Young; sisters, Maxine Mehall, Helen Woods, and Joan Dickson; grandsons, Jason and David Frank; and great grandsons, Carl and Jimmie Layland.

Friends may call Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Chaplain Dallas Waggle. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
