

During WWII, she was a “Rosie the Riveter”. She retired from Therm-O-Disc then became a wedding planner for many years. Marjorie was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and made the flower arrangements for the church. She enjoyed traveling, camping with her husband, fishing with her grandchildren and spending time with all of her family and friends.
She is survived by four children, Linda Joyce Knackstedt, James (Rhonda) Knackstedt and Helen Sackman, all of Mansfield and Richard (Linda) Knackstedt of Troy; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Russell (Reva) Rudd of Owensboro, KY; sister, Shirley (Bill) Brown of Owensboro, KY; a daughter-in-law, Barb Knackstedt; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur in 1999; son, William Knackstedt; and brother, Ralph Rudd.
Friends may visit from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. A funeral service conducted by Rev. Joseph Bathe will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
