
Marjorie Kerr Millikin Lybarger, 92, of Mansfield, died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Winchester Terrace. On October 2, 1918, Mrs. Lybarger was born to Maggie Mitchell Kerr and A. Leslie Kerr in Morrow County, Ohio. The family moved to Mansfield in 1921. She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and Mansfield Business College and attended Hiram College. For 40 years, she was on the staff of Mansfield-Richland County Public Library, 19 of those years as librarian of the city branchmobile. She was an active member of the First Christian Church and the Wilcox Bible class. She was a charter member of the P.E.O Sisterhood, Chapter CJ.
Mrs. Lybarger is survived by a daughter, Marcia Felton of Mansfield; sons, Bill Lou Millikin and Tom Vera Millikin, both of Mansfield; step daughter, Patty; grandchildren, Bryce Millikin, Kerry Millikin, Liese Roy Hoover, David Sarah Millikin, and Jonathan Amy Millikin; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Millikin; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, H. Perry Millikin, second husband, Maurice Lybarger, and sister, Gladys Bauer.
Friends may call Monday, February 21, 2011 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Chris Whitehead. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church or the American Heart Association.
