Marjorie E. Meredith, age 84, of Mansfield, died Sunday morning at MedCentral/Mansfield following a brief illness. Mrs. Meredith was born December 6, 1918 in Mansfield and has lived here all of her life. Marjorie liked to bowl in Park Lanes Bowling league, and was very active in her church, St. Timothy's Lutheran Church where she was a member.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Becky Meredith of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Richard Isherwood of Fern Park, Florida; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Williamine Cleckner of Mansfield and Marion Keplar of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noland P. Meredith; parents, Jacob and Ethel Frye Hoffman; and two brothers.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to graveside services that will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Mansfield Cemetery conducted by Pastor Bonnie Peltomaa. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
