
Mark Pryor, 57, of Mansfield, died early Saturday morning, January 30, 2010, at his home. Born September 27, 1952, in Mansfield, he was the son of Roeliff and Clara Shoup Pryor. Mark worked in the construction business most of his life, spending 10 years at R. G. Beer Corp., and owned his own business, Mansfield Concrete, for 5 years. He also assisted his brother-in-law, Jerry, with his lawn care business in Georgia for many years. Mark was a former member of Local #1216. A simple, humble, funny man, Mark was everyone's friend and was a great storyteller. He enjoyed 70s music, motorcycles, classic cars, fishing, landscaping and spending his time outdoors. His passion was playing euchre, pool and darts and being with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Roeliff and Clara Pryor of Mansfield; a son, Alex Chris Boyle of Mansfield; two daughters, Audrey George Wilson of GA and Amanda Cory Gray of OK; three grandchildren, Stephen, Lily and Trever; two brothers, Joe Sheila Pryor of Ashland and Jeff Mary Pryor of Perrysville; two sisters, Brenda Jerry Greer and Denise Tom Sqrow, all of Mansfield; sixteen nieces and nephews, Jarrod, Karissa, Macey, Malinda, Holly, Sherry, Jeannette, Amy, Michelle, Kim, David, Jeffrey, Joshua, Justin, Kayla and Bubba; and his favorite aunt, Susie Johnson of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brion; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Anna Pryor; and maternal grandparents, Ethel and John Shoup.
Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pavonia Cemetery.
