She was born on December 19, 1949, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Peter and Ruby (Rowe) Gabor and was a loving daughter and sister. Marsha graduated from St. Peter’s Catholic High School and worked at Lumberman’s Insurance as a secretary before becoming a devoted homemaker.
Marsha married the love of her life, Jerry Pearce, 49 years ago and they created a warm and loving family. Her family was her main focus, and she was incredibly involved throughout her children’s lives supporting them as a classroom mom and being their cheerleader at various sporting events. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She had a caring, nurturing nature and always wore a smile on her face.
She loved living in the country and taking care of her bird feeders. She had an uncanny knack for untangling fishing lines whenever the family went fishing. Crafting and attending craft shows were happy ways she spent her time. Marsha was an amazing, loving woman who touched the lives of so many and made life a little brighter for them.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Pearce; three children, Brad (Julie Mosier) Gabor, Curtis (Sarah) Pearce and Doug Pearce; six grandchildren, Aleigha (Cole) Gabor, Bradley Gabor, Ayden, Brooklynn, Austin and Nolan Pearce; two great grandchildren, Crue and Myles; a sister, Kathy Sherburne; a nephew, Kris Sherburne; and a great nephew, Derek Sherburne.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her niece, Michelle Sherburne; and a brother-in-law, Roger Sherburne.
