
Marshall B. Ramsey, age 76, of Mansfield, died Tuesday at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Ramsey was born October 10, 1924 in Mansfield, Ohio living and working here all of his life. Mr. Ramsey was a member of Lincoln Heights Church of the Brethren, where he was a superintendent/Leader and also involved in the Choir. He was a volunteer fireman for Mifflin Township, Master for the Grange in Olivesburg, Amvets Post #26 and a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II in the European Theatre, where he received a purple heart and Oak Leaf Cluster.
Surviving are his wife, N. Louise Little Ramsey of Mansfield; four brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard & Rose Scott of Mansfield, Bill & Faireen Query, & James & June Little all of Lucas, Gene & Margie Little of Mansfield and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas H. & Laura A. Ernsberger Ramsey; two sisters, Yvonne Harlan & Vivian Martin and a brother, Robert S. Ramsey.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. Military graveside services will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Terry Baught and Pastor Clyde Fry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
