

Born January 24, 1913 in Ontario, Ohio she was the daughter of Edward and Ozella (Danals) Burger. A homemaker, she had worked as a cook for Ontario Schools in her earlier years and was a lifetime member of Ontario United Methodist Church where she was involved in the Friendship Class. She was also a member of the Richland County Extention Homemakers, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program and the Ontario Senior Citizens. A very outgoing person, she enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers, collecting coupons, elephants and owls and was a Cleveland Indians fan but her greatest enjoyment was her family whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by three sons, Earl (Eva) Souder, Jr., William Edward (Vickie) Souder and Richard (Carol) Souder; a daughter, Sandra Kaye (Peter) Kovinchick; 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; a brother, Gerald (Mary Ann) Burger; a sister, Carol Burger Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Souder, Sr.; a brother, Robert Burger; a sister, Viola Williams; and two grandchildren, Robert Burger, Jr. and Richard Lee Souder.
Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2012 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Sondra Snode with additional calling hours one hour prior to the services from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario United Methodist Church.
