Mary Elizabeth Fisk

Mary Elizabeth (Brenneman) Fisk, 91 of Ashland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Salt Creek Township, Wayne County, Ohio on April 26, 1933, the daughter of the late Samuel Brenneman and Anna Mae (Kahn) Brenneman Stentz.

Mary was a resident of Ashland County most of her life. She was employed at General Latex, Cresco, and Hawkins. Mary ultimately went on to work at and retire from the Ashland Times Gazette. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake and can. Her other interests were reading; she enjoyed collecting Ashland County Historical books, horses, and her beloved boxer dogs.

Mary was married to Ronald Fisk, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Tom) Mutsch, Karen Campbell, and Robin (Keith) Searl; grandchildren, Justin (Martha) Ports, Johanna Mutsch, Garrett Searl, and Wyatt Searl; and great-granddaughter, Joanna Ports.

A Private graveside service will be held at Reedsburg Cemetery with Pastor Dave Matos presiding. Mary’s family wishes to thank the staff at Brethren Care as well as the nurses and Dr. Pierre at Gentiva Hospice for their kind and gentle care of their mother.
