
Mary Jane Linn, 88, of Ashland, died Monday morning, April 5, 2010 at Brookwood Place in Brethren Care Village. Born October 14, 1921, in Red Haw, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ray Le-Verne and Maggie Herr Kiplinger. She graduated from Polk High School and Oberlin Business College. Mary Jane was a member of First United Methodist in Wooster and a member of the United Methodist Women's Society.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane J. Ken Burney of Rocky River; a son, Thomas R. Sheila Linn of Wooster; five grandchildren, Stacie Linn of Worthington, Brian Andee Linn of Marysville, Kelly Ryan Kuzma of Wooster, Jeffrey Burney of Denver, CO and Erin Burney of the Philippines; four great-grandchildren, Trent, Cole and Dane Kuzma and Micah Linn; and a brother, James D. Betty Jane Kiplinger of Ashland. In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by a brother, Guy Kiplinger and a sister, Flo Wiley.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue with Pastor Jerry Gess officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Brethren Care Village or a charity of the donor's choice.
