Mary Elizabeth Navratil

Mary Elizabeth Navratil, 87, of Mansfield, passed away Friday evening, July 15, 2016, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born December 22, 1928, in Mansfield, Ohio, the only child of the late Clinton L. and Leona B. (Zeigler) Wilson.

Mary graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1946. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and crafts.

Mary is survived by four children, Sharon (Rick) Cicolani of Mansfield, Greg (Mary Lou) Navratil of Mansfield, Terry (Sandy) Navratil of Troy, MI, and Michelle R. Anderson of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren, Eric Cicolani, Brad (Sheree) Cicolani and Corey (Jami) Poth, all of Mansfield, Ashley Navratil and Andrea Navratil, both of Troy, MI, Paul (Courtney) Anderson of San Antonio, TX, and Ryan (Violeta) Anderson of San Diego, CA; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Navratil, whom she married on June 22, 1946, and who passed away on November 5, 1998.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will proceed to Mansfield Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
