

Mary Ann Nolen passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born September 9, 1952, in Charleston, West Virginia, to James Edward and Betty Ann (Brown) Roberts.
Mary Ann was a peacemaker and very giving woman. God was the center of her life and she enjoyed sharing her personal testimony with others. She was very generous and even gave her own belongings to those who needed them. Her grandchildren were very special to her. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to Tennessee on family vacations.
She is survived by her husband, Woodward "Woody" Nolen; son, Doug (Jennifer) Nolen; two daughters, Angie (Tim) Carroll and Laura (Matt) Prater; nine grandchildren, Caleb (Megan) Nolen, Morgan Nolen, Riley Carroll, Abigail Nolen, Hannah Nolen, Kenna, Maddy, Chloe and Brooklyn Prater; three great-grandchildren, Kaden, Kylie and Ava Nolen; her mother, Betty Williamson; four siblings, Tommy Roberts, Gary (Pam) Roberts, Susan Baker and Dale (Diane) Roberts; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James Roberts; step-father, Allen Williamson; and grandmother, Dovie Brown.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
