Mary Persinger

Mary Frances Bellomy Persinger, 56, of Bellville, died Friday, July 21, 2006, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born August 28, 1949, in Lexington, Kentucky. Mrs. Persinger was a devoted wife and mother and lived in the Richland County area most of her life. She was a member of the Survivor's Motorcycle Riders Club. She is survived by her husband, Michael L. 'Red' Persinger; two sons, Richard A. Bellomy and Eric F. Bellomy; two stepdaughters, Nickey and Jess Gussard; eleven grandchildren; stepmother, Billie Bowling; two sisters, Alice Abernathy and Brenda Medina; two brothers, Kenny Johnson and Nick Bowling; and a wonderful ex-daughter-in-law, Tina Bellomy. She was preceded in death by her wonderful foster parents, Chester Allen and Mary Alice Bellomy. Friends may call Sunday, July 23 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Pastor Clyde Junior Thompson of Paradise View Church and Becky Medina. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
