Mary Rucker

Mary Isabel Rucker, 84, of Amarillo, Texas, died Wednesday, February 04, 2004, at Country Club Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Texas. She was born February 6, 1919, in Mansfield to George Wilford and Beulah Irene Baker Sumption and was a lifelong Mansfield area resident. While living in Mansfield, she attended Berean Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kay and Dennis Cook of Amarillo, Texas and Gail Chappelear of Hilliard, Ohio; six grandchildren, Gwen Weemhoff of Butler, Ohio, Gina Wright of Westerville, Ohio, Brett Prion of Las Vegas, Nevada, Earl Gene Eugene Prion, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Laurie Harp and LouAnne Parkison, both of Mansfield; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Cecil Rucker, sister, Gernette, and three brothers, Bill, Dale and Jack.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2004 at Lantz Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Curtiss E. Wagner. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors from 11:30 to the time of the service.
