

Mary M. Shaver, 96, of Ashland, formerly of Barrackville, West Virginia, went to be with her Lord Saturday morning, October 29, 2016. Mary was born May 10, 1920, the daughter of the late Arlie and Ethel Satterfield.
Mary's family was the love of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Lomax, grandson, Luke Lomax, great granddaughter, Beth Lomax and great great grandson, Brand and grandson, Dalton Lomax; her daughter, Carolyn Shafer and late son-in-law, Paul Shafer, grandson, Trent (Angie) Shafer, grandson, Kevin Shafer, great granddaughter, Shylan Shafer and Tyee Brandt; Chris and Samantha Louge, grandchildren, Alexis, Tyler, Kennidy and Carson; Tanya and Michael Cook, grandchildren, Cody, Michael and Brice Lowe; daughter, Ronda (Brad) Kazebee, with whom she lived with almost one year, grandson, Jeremy Kazebee, great granddaughters, Shylah and Starlet, grandson, Jerod (Carrie) Kazebee, great grandson, Aaron Kazebee and Kyle. Also surviving are a sister, Jean Pitzer of Fairmont, West Virginia and a sister-in-law, Thelma Satterfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cleon Shaver; sister, Lucille (Richard) Harden; brother, Calvin Satterfield; and sister, Wilma (Harry) Arny.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland conducted by Rev. Harry Strachan. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Friends may call prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth Hospice.
