

She graduated from Madison High School and had many jobs throughout the years. Most recently, she was employed at The Center. Miriam was a loving, caring, dedicated and gracious woman who treasured her family and friends. She was devoted to her children and adored her grandchildren. Miriam had an easy going nature, and was a joy to be around. A strong woman of faith, she was a member of First Congregational Church.
Miriam is survived by a daughter, Joanne Hall of Birmingham, MI; son, John (Vicki) Dye of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Hunt of Berkley, MI, Brian (Joy) Hall of Omaha, NE, Alex (Mallory) Dye of Columbus, OH, and Anna Dye of Los Angeles, CA; four great-grandchildren, Maggie Hunt, Libby Hunt, Ansley Hall and Barrett Hall; a sister-in-law, Marian Oswalt of Pinehurst, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Dye, whom she married on December 25, 1941; parents; son-in-law, Chuck Hall; brother, Wendell Oswalt; and two sisters, Marjorie Kipp and Margaret Havens.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A funeral service conducted by Rev. Bruce Haapalainen will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth MedCentral Hospice.
