Molly Mott

Molly B. Mott, 84, of Lucas, Ohio died Thursday evening November 15, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield following an extended illness. Mrs. Mott was born April 12, 1917 in Ashland, Kentucky residing in the Mansfield/Lucas area most of her life. She was a member of St. Mathews Lutheran Church and Pleasant Hill Boat Club. Molly was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed being a homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Christine Mott-Spearman and Barbara C. Sharp both of Lucas; and Eva Jean Schluter of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Christine Faye Owens; Joseph Paul Spearman; Tonya Jean Stecher; Robert James Sharp; Terry Schluter; Tracy Royse; and Chuck Schluter; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Jessee Howell of Witchata Falls, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Katherine Wells Howell; her husband, Peter Paul Mott; one son, John Alan Mott; three sons-in-law, Joseph Alan Spearman; Robert James Sharp; and Charles Schluter.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday November 18, 2001 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 19, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Jessie Howell. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
