A veteran of the United States Army, he retired from Mansfield Tire following 29 1/2 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Club. In his younger days, he enjoyed golfing and bowling.
He is survived by a son, Dale (Patti) King of Mansfield; a daughter, Peggy (Brian) Besecker of Mansfield; a grandson, Joseph Besecker of Mansfield; a brother, Richard (Linda) King of Mansfield; a sister, Carol King of Wooster, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Marilyn King of Mansfield; several nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Betty King of Bucyrus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert (Alice) King and William King.
There will be no services or calling hours at this time.
