Nancy Dawson

Nancy Claire Dawson, 67, of Mansfield died Friday evening, June 14, 2002 at Woodlawn Health Care and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. Mrs. Dawson was born November 6, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and taking care of the elderly.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Kay Patton of Crestline and David and Sondi Patton of West Carrollton, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Lloyd Smith of Shiloh, Ohio; six grandchildren, Michelle Leedy, Jacob Russell Patton, Rachael Lynn Ball, Justin Wilson, Josh Patton and Jared Patton; one great-grandchild, Olivia Stage; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Pearl West and Robert and Donna West; and one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Gene DeVos. Her stepson, Timothy Patton and parents, William C. and Mary T. West preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Tuesday, June 18 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. J. Hudson Thayer. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galion, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
