
Nancy Lee Harriger, 72, of Mansfield, died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at her home. Born November 22, 1935 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of John W. and Dorothy Mae Johnson Valentine. She had worked at Grange Insurance, Wal-Mart, and Mansfield Screw Machine. Nancy enjoyed playing Bingo and slot machines, cooking, and traveling.
She is survived by one son, Ellsworth George Harriger, Jr. of Mansfield; two daughters, Patricia Carol Arlie Burns, and Ruth Stevens-Reedy, all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Julie Britton, Henry Betty Britton, Raymond Smith, and Sharonda, Arlie Jr., and Natasha Burns; three great-grandchildren, Anbria Britton, Henry Ellsworth Britton, Jr., and Leeann Britton; brothers, W.E. Joan Valentine, John Valentine, and James Marilyn Valentine; long-time companion, Walter "Al" Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth Harriger, Sr.; parents; brother, Elmer Valentine; and sister, Eleanor Carper.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Thomas Finkey. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
