

Nancy L. Kulka, 74, of Mansfield, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Hospice of North Central Ohio. Born October 2, 1940 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Jack Briner and Jeanne C. (Grindle) Charters. A lifelong area resident, Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Madison High School. She worked for Dawson Co. (formerly Prescott Ball & Turbin) as a stockbrokers assistant and operations manager, retiring in 2008. Nancy enjoyed traveling, especially Siesta Key, FL for her yearly vacation. She was an amazing woman and a great friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry Kulka; children, Eric (Dianna) Kulka, Erin (Reggie) Blubaugh, and Kari (Brian) Nikolaus; grandchildren, Evan (Alyssa) Kulka, Elyse Kulka, A.J., Ben, Claire, and Melodie Blubaugh, and Ashley Nikolaus; her fur baby/cockapoo, Gibbs; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Charters.
A celebration gathering will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Life Celebration Reception Center, 129 S. Main St., Mansfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio or the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital. Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Nancy L. Kulka.
