Nancy Mullins

Nancy E. Mullins, 57, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Born December 31, 1951, in Stow, Ohio, she was the daughter of Robert P. and Mary Zimmerman Smith. She had worked as a hostess for Skyway East Restaurant and loved spending time with her family. Nancy enjoyed stained glass projects, painting, making ceramics, scrapbooking, gardening, boating and traveling.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Debbie Mullins of Milan, MI; a daughter, Michele Lea Mullins of Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandchildren, Lane and Rodney; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Floyd Barron of Ohio; and her best friends, Jeff and Carrie Claxon and their children, Bethani and Hunter of Mansfield; and Jasmin of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rodney "Moon" Mullins; and a brother, Stephan Smith.

Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Mansfield, OH 44906, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Bruce Copley. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
