
Naomi Cairns, 82, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Otterbein Springboro Nursing Facility in Centerville, OH. She was born in Mansfield, OH on August 23, 1933 to the late George and Lois (Finney) Wagoner Sr.
Naomi worked as an Evidence Receiver at the State Fire Marshall's office in the Arson Crime Lab for over twenty years. She retired at the age of 75. She attended Aley United Methodist Church and enjoyed going to the Beavercreek Senior Center. Some of her favorite hobbies included attending family reunions, reading and going out with her girls for a day of shopping and lunch. The most important part of her life was spending time with her children and grandchildren as they were all the light of her life.
Naomi is survived by her son, Greg (Deborah) Ute; daughter, Sherry (Tony) Kim; four grandchildren, Sam (Andrea) Ute, Leigha (Jeremy) Shoup, Lindsey Ute and Lesley Kim; four great grandchildren; three brothers, George "Sonny" Wagoner Jr., James Wagoner and Robert Wagoner; first cousin, Ilene Whisler and numerous nieces nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Alexander.
Family and friends can visit on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario, OH 44906 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with _ officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park in Ontario. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Otterbein Springboro Skilled Nursing and Rehab Neighborhood, 9320 Avalon Circle, Centerville, OH 45458.
