Naomi Young

Naomi F. Young, 92, former Mansfield resident for many years and currently of Olympia Fields, Illinois died Friday morning, September 3, 2004 at The Park in Olympia. She was born March 3, 1912 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Edwin and Theresa Amstutz. Naomi was a member of the Ruth Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #17.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Jr. and Jeanette Young of Mansfield and Gary and Beverly Young of Columbus; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and John Sawyer of Olympia Fields, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Martha, Esther, and Betty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; four brothers; a half-brother; two sisters; a son, Larry Bob; and a great grandson, Trenton.

Funeral services, conducted by her grandson, Rev. Daniel Young, will be held at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday, September 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call one-hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
