Nettie Chandler

Nettie Belle Chandler, 67, of Mansfield, died April 23, 2014. Born February 12, 1947 in Spooner, WI, she was the daughter of Don and Gladys (Melton) Moser. Nettie never met a stranger and touched the lives of everyone she met. The "neighborhood mom", she was always baking or cooking. Spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her great joy. In her free time, she loved playing cards, Bingo, and going fishing. She always enjoyed a meal at Mansfield Restaurant. Nettie was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle and she loved the Lord with all her heart.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Clifford Chandler Jr.; children, Ginette Williams, Kelly Borchart, Kimberlee Bauer, Clifford (Michelle) Chandler III, Steven (Misty) Schinsky, Danny (Amy) Chandler, Michele (Don) Griffith, Lessie Sloan, and David (Kim) Chandler; thirty one grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; step-mother, Helen Moser; siblings, Bill Moser, David Moser, Georgia (Ken) Anthony, Debra (Mark) Marvin, Sondra Puckett, William Palmer, Toni Puckett, Mike Puckett, and Melonna Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews; aunt, Verda Lee Cains; best friend, Joyce Temme; and close family members Eldon and Charlene Fancher and family.

Nettie was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Gladys and Melvin Johnson; father, Don Moser; brother, Richard Moser; and good friend, Joyce Hall.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Mansfield Memorial Homes Rotary Adult Daycare and OhioHealth MedCentral Hospice, Heidi and Margaret, for the wonderful care they all provided.

A memorial service, conducted by Jerry Laudermilk, will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 1085 Bedford Blvd., Mansfield, OH 44906.
